About:
Mitinex Allergy Spray is an externally used spray which eases typical dust mite allergy symptoms, such as: Sneezing, runny nose, nasal congestion, blocked sinuses, sinusitis/rhinitis, sniffing and or difficulty breathing, Asthma, Itchy/scratchy throat, phlegm, watery, itchy and red eyes, Eczema, itchy skin, skin rashes. The spray works to interrupt the life cycle of dust mites and mould, reducing allergen exposure in the home, car or office.
Indicated for: Eczema, Allergies (dust, mould), Allergic rhinitis (hay fever), Asthma.

Directions:

For Dustmite Allergy

To treat dust mites (Repeat this for 7 days):

1. Take all sheets, mattress protector (if you have one), and pillowcases off bed and wash in hot water (55-60 degrees) 
2. Spray bed and at least 1m around bed, on carpet below and around desk, and curtains (if near the bed)

Dust mite maintenance:

1. Pull back bedding each morning to allow the mattress to dry. ⁠
2. Spray areas on bed and bedroom as above after stripping bed once weekly.
3. Vacuum weekly using a vacuum with a Hepa Filter. If it is on the same day as spraying, wait for spray to dry (20-30 mins). 
4. Keep dust levels in the bedroom down by cleaning weekly with a damp microfiber cloth. ⁠
5. Wash bedding and PJs in hot water (55-60 degrees) on a weekly basis. ⁠You can also put through a hot dryer.

  • Use house dust mite resistant covers and bedding. Choose ones made of breathable natural fibres such as cotton. ⁠
  • Wash duvet inners, blankets, soft toys and pillows every 2 months and air dry in the sun. 
  • Discard pillows more than 2 years old and wool and feather duvet inners more than 10 years old.

May be sprayed on all surfaces that have direct contact to skin, and airway exposure. This
includes carpets, lounge chairs, pillows, soft furnishings, mattresses, bedding, sheets, pillows and
pillow cases and soft toys. Patch test on surfaces before full use to assess for colour fastness.
