Soratinex Skin Care oil is a synergistic formula that has been carefully blended to promote skin healing and remove discomfort associated with skin conditions like psoriasis and eczema such as itching and dryness. It is perfect for the more sensitive of psoriasis prone skins and is especially suited to dry and flaky conditions of the scalp (think scalp psoriasis and dandruff). This gentle formula is rich in plant oils which massage easily into the skin of the scalp and body to reduce flaking and dryness. Combine with the Soratinex Shampoo for general flakiness or with the Soratinex Skin Care Gel for thick, plaque patches.

Soratinex Skin Care oil is used for the care of dry, flaking and inflamed skin of the scalp and body in adults.It is also useful for muscular aches, stiffness and pain.

The combination of herbal extracts and plant oils in the Soratinex Skin Care Oil help to improve skin barrier function by restoring essential lipids, infuse the skin with antioxidants and help to smooth, hydrate and calm, dry, flaky, itchy skin.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Scalp: Part hair and apply to affected areas twice daily. Massage in well. Best applied after Soratinex Cleansing gel or Soratinex Moisturising Bar.

Body: Apply sparingly to affected areas twice daily. Massage in well. Best applied after Soratinex Skin Care Gel or Soratinex Moisturising Bar. Can be used in addition to Soratinex Emollient to help seal the moisture in.

Bath: Add 2 drops to bath water for very dry skin

KEY INGREDIENTS

Safflower Oil
Safflower oil is rich in Linoleic acid (between 70-80%), which is one of the essential structuring lipids within the skin, and is crucial for the formation of a healthy skin barrier. Essential fatty acid deficiency, particularly Linoleic acid, is associated with the onset of skin conditions such as acne and dermatitis.

Safflower oil is absorbed rapidly in the skin, where the nourishing benefits of polyunsaturated triglycerides can be utilized. Direct topical application of linoleic acids to the skin immediately has an emollient effect, restores barrier function, normalises TEWL (water loss), and reduces skin flaking and scaling.

Castor Oil
Castor Oil is used as an emollient for inflammatory skin disorders and has been shown to have antimicrobial properties. The key active chemical constituents in castor oil are Ricinoleic acid, which possesses antioxidant activity. Research has shown RA to be an effective antiviral and antibacterial agent as well as preventing the growth of yeasts and moulds.

Emu Oil
Topically emu oil has been shown to decrease inflammation within the skin, as well as promoting wound healing. Emu oil also acts a penetration enhancer for other active compounds to absorb deeper into the skin.

Rosemary oil
Rosemary oil contains potent antioxidants known as flavonoids. The flavonoids caffeic and rosmarinic acid in Rosemary oil reduce inflammation and promote skin repair.

Lavender oil
Lavender oil has been found to possess antibacterial and soothing properties and is also effective in reducing allergy related skin irritation. Lavender also possesses anti-fungal, analgesic, and anti-inflammatory properties, and is effective in providing relief for skin ailments, such as psoriasis and eczema.

Other Key Ingredients include: Olive oil, Sesame Seeds oil, Wheat Germ oil, Rosehip oil, Evening Primrose oil, Citronella oil.
